Our dedicated sub-acute units are a serene oasis of care featuring lovely private and semi-private suites, a multitude of amenities, and a bright and spacious well-equipped rehab gym that includes a model apartment with an actual kitchen and bath.
Upon admission, an individualized therapy plan is developed by our rehab team, comprised of physical, occupational and speech therapists, to get you back on track, safely and quickly. Therapies are offered 7 days a week to help patients regain your highest level of functioning.

Our skilled nursing capabilities include restorative therapy, pain management, wound care, IV therapy, palliative, dementia and respite care.
Tremendous emphasis is placed on fostering our residents’ independence and well-being and enhancing their quality of life. Family members are an integral part of their loved one’s care every step of the way. Our staff members are intimately familiar with every resident and family member and know each by name, forging strong bonds.

Brookview, our secured Dementia Unit, is home to residents with varying stages of Alzheimer’s and memory loss. Dedicated solely to individuals with memory impairment, this special care neighborhood provides a supportive environment with enhanced supervision. Our interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses and therapists assesses each resident’s abilities and develops a care plan that reflects the unique needs of that individual.
To create life-enhancing experiences, we have designed an activities program tailored to the cognitive needs of these residents that includes sensory stimulation, homemaking activities, reminiscence therapy and crafts.
The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine defines CAM as a “group of diverse medial and healthcare systems, practices and products that are not generally considered part of conventional medicine.” Using CAM in conjunction with conventional medicine provides many benefits to our residents.
CAM practices include spiritual, emotional, personal energy and physical health techniques that often focus on prevention. At Ten Broeck Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing, We have a Guided Imagery Therapist and Massage Therapist on staff, and our caregivers are trained to implement techniques – such as the usage of essential oils and different lights – in their day to day care.
